1. Ginseng
Provides an energy boost, lowers blood sugar and cholesterol levels, reduces stress, promotes relaxation, helps treat diabetes. It also has anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties. Great benefits for memory and mental clarity; helps relieve tinnitus, vertigo, diabetes and asthma; combats stress and anxiety; and helps fight allergic reactions.
2. Garlic
Great for building the immune system and fighting colds, making it great for the colder months. This spice has had a long history of medicinal value and has cardiovascular, antimicrobial and antineoplastic properties. Contains the compound allicin, which fights cancer, reduces LDL cholesterol and lowers blood pressure (in one study, it was just as effective as blood-pressure drugs).
3. Ginger
This herb has been shown to reduce inflammation, cardiovascular conditions, blood clots and cholesterol. It relieves nausea and morning sickness, helps with pain management and has anti-inflammatory properties that may fight cancer. It is also great for fighting depression, fights symptoms of PMS and infections, perfect for the winter months.
4. Ginkgo Biloba
